No longer do you require harsh detergents, acrylic sealers or waxes, treated sweeping compounds, hours of scrubbing, and of course, no more dusting of the floor surface. |

All that is necessary to maintain the shine and seal on your floor is damp mopping, sweeping, and periodic auto scrubbing. Proper maintenance is critical to a RetroPlate floor. Good maintenance will ensure the longevity of the floor and will help to maintain the polish.

We recommend the use of Advanced Floor Products' RetroClean product. RetroClean is a neutral pH, non-rinsing cleaner specifically formulated to enhance your RetroPlate floor, as it renews the RetroPlate every time it is used. It is simply added to the water and applied with a damp mop or automatic scrubber.
- Avoid all acidic cleaners. Acidic cleaners may etch the surface over time and cause a dulling of the finish. No aggressive scrubbing brushes. Stratogrit, nylogrit and other aggressive scrubbing brushes may alter the polish pattern and leave a dull appearance. Avoid all contact with acid. Avoid any detergents containing Hydroxides or Sulfates.
